Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the MasterPlan mobile app or web portal (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MasterPlan is a floor plan sketching and inspection tool that allows you to draw floor plans, place observation pins, capture photos and audio, generate PDF reports, and sync data across devices. The Service is provided by LineForge, a company registered in Denmark.

3. Account Responsibility

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us promptly at info@asbestexperts.be if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, the server, or any connected systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without prior written consent.
• Publish marketplace objects or forum content that contains malware, spam, or deceptive material.

5. Your Data and Intellectual Property

You own your data. All floor plans, observations, photos, audio recordings, client records, and reports you create remain your intellectual property. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

By uploading data to our servers (via cloud sync), you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your data or your account.

If you publish custom objects to the marketplace, you grant other users a non-exclusive license to use those objects within MasterPlan. You can withdraw published objects at any time.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

• MasterPlan offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.
• Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by the respective platform.
• We do not process or store any payment information.
• The free tier includes up to 3 plans, 50 MB cloud storage, and up to 5 custom objects. Exports include a watermark.
• Pro unlocks unlimited plans, 5 GB cloud storage, up to 50 custom objects, and watermark-free exports.
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing for new subscriptions with reasonable notice. Existing subscriptions are honored until their renewal date.

6.1 How to Cancel a Subscription

Pro subscriptions are auto-renewing. You can cancel at any time directly through the store that issued the subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro access until then, and no further charges occur. Because Apple and Google are the merchants of record, we are unable to cancel or refund subscriptions on your behalf.

iOS (Apple App Store):

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
• Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
• Select MasterPlan and tap Cancel Subscription.
• Alternative path: App Store → profile icon → Subscriptions → MasterPlan → Cancel Subscription.

Android (Google Play):

• Open the Google Play Store app.
• Tap your profile icon (top right), then tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Select MasterPlan and tap Cancel subscription.

Refund requests must be made directly to Apple or Google under their respective store policies. We do not issue refunds and cannot override store decisions. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at info@asbestexperts.be and we will assist where we can.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We provide no formal service level agreement (SLA).

The app is designed to work fully offline for local-only plans. Cloud features require an internet connection.

8. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes all your data from our servers.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
• Upon termination, your cloud-stored data will be deleted. Local data on your device is not affected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LineForge and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Measurement Accuracy & Professional Use Disclaimer

MasterPlan is a sketching and notation tool, not a certified measurement instrument. All floor plan drawings, measurements, area calculations, and reports generated by the app are approximate and intended for visual documentation and reference purposes only.

In particular, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Measurements and area calculations are based on freehand on-screen input and are not equivalent to results obtained with calibrated professional instruments (laser distance meters, total stations, or similar).
• The app does not replace professional surveying, engineering, or architectural measurement services.
• If you use MasterPlan in the context of asbestos surveys, hazardous material inspections, building assessments, or any other regulated activity, you are solely responsible for verifying all measurements and observations with appropriate certified equipment before relying on them for regulatory filings, safety decisions, or client deliverables.
• Reports generated by the app (PDF, DXF, Excel) inherit the same approximation limitations and must not be presented as certified measurements unless independently verified.

LineForge accepts no liability for decisions made based on unverified measurements or calculations produced by this tool.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark.

For EU consumers: you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
