Account Deletion

How to delete your MasterPlan account and what data is removed.

1. About This Page

MasterPlan is operated by LineForge, a company registered in Denmark. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and the data associated with it. If you have any questions, contact us at pacmenco@gmail.com.

2. What Gets Deleted

When you complete the deletion request, the following data is permanently removed from our servers after the grace period described below:

  • Your account record (email, hashed password, profile details).
  • All floor plans you own, including walls, rooms, measurements, and observations.
  • All photos and audio recordings attached to your plans.
  • Custom objects you have uploaded to your library.
  • Client records you stored for report auto-fill.
  • Subscription state on our side (any active App Store / Google Play subscription remains under the platform’s own cancellation flow).
  • Sync metadata, share invitations you sent, and edit-activity history for plans you owned.

Comments and forum posts you made on plans owned by other users may be retained in anonymised form so that conversations remain coherent for those users; this is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.

3. Grace Period — 20 Days

After you initiate deletion, your account is scheduled for permanent removal in 20 days. During this grace period, your data is retained but the account is marked for deletion. You can cancel any time before the 20 days are up — see section 5 below.

Once the grace period ends, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

4. How to Request Deletion

4.1 In the App (recommended)

The simplest way to delete your account is from inside the MasterPlan app itself:

  1. Open the MasterPlan app and sign in with the account you want to delete.
  2. Tap Account in the bottom navigation.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen.
  4. Tap Delete account (red, with a trash icon).
  5. Read the consequence dialog and tap Continue.
  6. Enter your account password and tap Delete account.
  7. You will see a confirmation with the scheduled deletion date and be signed out automatically.
  8. You will also receive a confirmation email at the address registered to your account, with a one-tap link to cancel the deletion.

4.2 By Email (if you cannot access the app)

If you have lost access to your device or cannot use the in-app flow for any reason, you can request deletion by email:

  1. Send an email to pacmenco@gmail.com from the email address associated with your MasterPlan account.
  2. Include the subject line “MasterPlan Account Deletion Request”.
  3. We will verify the request, schedule the deletion within 5 business days, and email you a confirmation with the scheduled date.

Email requests must come from the account’s registered email address. If you no longer have access to that email, contact us and we will guide you through an identity-verification step before processing the request.

5. Cancelling a Pending Deletion

If you change your mind during the 20-day grace period, you have two ways to cancel:

  • Email link: The confirmation email we send you after a deletion request contains a one-tap Cancel deletion button. Tap it any time before the 20 days are up.
  • Sign back in: You can sign in to the MasterPlan app or the web dashboard within the grace period and choose to cancel the pending deletion from your account screen.

After 20 days, the account and all associated data are removed and cannot be recovered.

6. Apple App Store / Google Play Subscriptions

If you have an active Pro subscription, deleting your MasterPlan account does not automatically cancel your subscription with Apple or Google. Subscriptions are managed entirely by the platform that processes payment. To stop billing, cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings before initiating account deletion.

  • iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → MasterPlan → Cancel.
  • Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MasterPlan → Cancel.

7. Data Retained After Deletion

For legal and operational reasons, we retain a small amount of information after account deletion is complete:

  • Server access logs: For up to 30 days, used for security monitoring and abuse prevention. They contain IP address, timestamp, URL path, and response code — no plan content.
  • Anonymised forum and comment activity: Posts you made on plans owned by other users may be kept with the author name replaced by a generic placeholder, so that conversations involving other users remain coherent. This is covered in section 9 of the Privacy Policy.
  • Aggregated, non-identifying transaction records: Required to comply with tax and accounting laws if you ever held a paid subscription.
